Justin was born and raised in Niverville, Manitoba. He graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Kinesiology in 2018, and then a Master of Physical Therapy in 2020. Justin also has his Sport First Responder certification. He uses manual therapy, exercise programming, and patient education to help his clients in recovering from injuries and achieving their health and wellness goals.

Justin is an avid athlete; playing many sports throughout his lifetime, including hockey, soccer, volleyball, and baseball. He played professional hockey in the USA before becoming a Physiotherapist and now works as the Head Physiotherapist/Trainer of the Niverville Nighthawks in the MJHL, who won the MJHL Turnbull Cup and the CJHL Centennial Cup in the 2026 season. He also has been involved with the Eastman Selects Female U18 hockey team and the Winnipeg Ice Female U18 hockey team as the team trainer. Justin is a board member of Sport Physiotherapy Manitoba, in charge of events across the province, including the PGA Tour Americas Manitoba Open and the Manitoba Marathon.

In his spare time, Justin likes to continue to play senior hockey and spend time with his wife, Dani, and son, Dakota.
